The Sea Merchant Terms and Conditions
By purchasing from The Sea Merchant you agree to:
Returns
At The Sea Merchant, we endeavour to accommodate our customers’ needs as best we can.
Please consider your purchase very carefully. We do not allow refunds based on change of mind. We are willing to offer an exchange or credit note. You can return the item/s to us, in their original condition with 7 days.
Original Conditions means - New and unused. All original Tags must be attached and item/s unused and unsoiled.
We reserve the right to decide and refuse item/s that are not in their original new and unused state.
All sale items are completely non Exchangeable or Refundable unless the item has a manufacturers fault.
If returning an item, all freight costs incurred are to be paid by the customer.

Refunds
In the event that you wish to return an item for a refund please email to notify us or bring your item in-store.
(Please include your reasons) for returning your item.
Please post the item/s back to us and a refund will be issued once we have received the product and checked that it's still in it's original unused state.
You will be issued your refund via the same payment method you originally made payment with, minus the shipping costs.
All postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. If your returning an item a tracking number will need to be provided.
We will not be held responsible for item/s that may go missing or get damaged during transit.
Exchanges
If you wish to exchange a purchased item for another, please email and advise us that this is what you wish to do, along with the item you would like to exchange it for within 7 days of receiving your item.
The exchange will be processed once the original item has been returned. An invoice for postage costs will be forwarded for the new item.
All postage costs for exchanges are the responsibility of the customer, please keep your postage receipt and forward the tracking number, as we hold no accountability for lost, damaged items during transit.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If the product you have purchased is faulty please contact us, and we will be more than happy to offer a new item, exchange or refund (upon return)
All postage costs for faulty items will be covered by us.
We take great care in making sure that all items are packaged securely for transit, so in the unfortunate event that your item/s is damaged during transit we hold no responsibility.
Any damage or loss of items that occurs will need to be taken up with the delivery service.
If you would like to insure your order, please email before purchasing and a postage insurance quote will be given.
